Say hello to a collection that embodies the strength and grace that is Serena Williams.

Whether you're a couch potato (guilty) or a fitness freak, we can all appreciate the athletic goddess, Serena Williams. So when Nike revealed a collection to launch in honour of the women's tennis player, everyone got excited.

The collection will be a collaboration between Nike, Serena Williams and renowned designer, Virgil Abloh. If that's not a name that rings a bell, he was previously the creative director for Kanye and is now Louis Vuitton's men’s designer. He also runs his own label, street style brand Off-White. So yeah, he is kind of impressive.

"The Queen Collection" was announced on 13 August by Nike. The brand stated that Abloh will dress Serena in the Off-White collaboration when she plays in the US Open tennis tournament.

This isn't actually the first time we've seen Abloh and Nike collaborate together. The designer and sports brand worked together where Abloh reconstructed 10 iconic Nike shoes and reimagined them with an Off-White twist.

“With Serena, we have one of our generation’s most powerful, inspiring athletes as the muse,” Abloh said in a press release. “I was trying to embody her spirit and bring something compelling and fresh to tennis.”

While it is a little different from the previous millennial pink collection, it's a stunning line of activewear unlike any other. Thankfully, Serena not only approves of the designs but loves them herself and we couldn't agree more.

“When I first tried on the dress, I felt very strong and feminine at the same time. It has all the really strong elements, from the leather to that really cool stretchy material,” Williams told Vogue. “I felt so feminine in the tutu, which is probably my favorite part of it. It really embodies what I always say: that you can be strong and beautiful at the same time.”

The best part is that this collection isn't just available for 23 time Grand Slam winners. You'll be able to purchase the collection from Nike at the end of August.
