Nike PG 4: Release date, price and where to shop
This is everything you need to know on Nike's latest model called the PG 4 – and it comes with a complete Air unit.
Your favourite sneaker label has just announced an upcoming release and here's what you need to know.
What is it? Nike PG 4 in Black/White/Smoke Grey.
Release date: The sneakers will officially release in China on 8 January, while the US will receive the shoes on 24 January. An Australian date has not been announced just yet.
Price: US$110 which roughly translates to around AUD$160, but this isn't a guaranteed price.
Where to shop: If you're looking to cop this pair of kicks, your first place to shop should be Nike online. We're not sure if it will reach any Aussie stockists. In the meantime, you can shop all things Nike from JD Sports, Hype DC and Platypus Shoes.
This isn't the first of Nike's PG models, in fact, it's the fourth. Although this one looks a little different to the rest. The shoe may just possibly change the future of Air cushioning, specifically in performance basketball shoes.
The PG 4 is the first silhouette to arrive with a complete Air unit. What does this do exactly? Your feet sit directly against the cushion – there's no extra foam or rubber to absorb movement.
Obviously there's the exception of the flat insole and your socks, but other than that, your foot is working with the padding at a level never seen before.
What does the upper look like? The lacing system is covered by an extra feature and we really like the look of this. The particular style on display features a Black/White/Smoke Grey colourway so it's perfect for everyday wear.
