What’s in the Nike BETRUE Pride collection?

Nike is throwing its support behind the LGBTQIA+ community with this colourful new line.
It's officially June which means that we're about to see rainbow-coloured everything because it's Pride month baby. And in unity with the LGBTQIA+ community, mega sportswear brand Nike is set to drop a colourful new collection to help you celebrate.
The new line, titled BETRUE, is inspired by political activist and designer Gilbert Baker who created the first ever rainbow Pride flag in 1978. Forty years later, the flag remains the ultimate symbol of unity among the LGBTQIA+ community, which makes it the perfect inspiration for a Pride collection.
The BETRUE line will see a range of footwear, apparel and accessories sport the eight colours of the flag along with other symbols of pride. There are a range of tees, hoodies, socks and bags to get your hands on, but it's the range of kicks that really has our attention.
The footwear collection will see four classic Nike silhouettes get a funky upgrade. First up, we have the Air Max 720s which arrive in a rainbow gradient spanning from toe to heel. Baker's signature appears on the rear of the midsole, while "BETRUE" branding is featured on the pulltab.

The Air Tailwind 79, meanwhile, is much more understated with a clean white colourway that features a mesh upper with a touch of pastel pink and baby blue. A rainbow motif on the heel tab adds a splash of colour.
The classic Air Max 90 silhouette arrives with white, grey and black panels with smaller panels in each colour of the rainbow adding pops of colour. Eight different coloured iterations of the iconic Nike Swoosh also appear along the lateral.
Finally, the Zoom Pegasus Turbo sneaker silhouette gets a colourful upgrade with a full-length rainbow stripe running from the top of the tongue to the toe. The design arrives in a breathable, dark navy upper with glitter accents.
When and where can you shop the collection?
