The Air Max 720 arrives in a totally retro-futuristic style and it belongs in your sneaker rotation immediately.

Here's a new sneaker drop to brighten up your Monday morning. Nike has just revealed a new colourway of the iconic Air Max 720 and it arrives as part of the D/MS/X series. This new edition is kind of retro and futuristic, with a minimal colour aesthetic. In the past, we've seen the Air Max 720 decorated in a Pure Platinum edition, as well as featuring in the Throwback Future collection.

What is it? Nike Air Max 720 Waves "White/Black"

Release date: If you're living in the US, they're available from the 26 October. Living in Australia? We're expecting the sneakers to drop in the next few weeks.

Price: Approximately $280

Where to buy: Nike. This pair of kicks may also feature in retailers like JD Sports and Platypus Shoes.

We're obsessed with this new sleek and sexy style – it's all white and it really makes a statement. The Air Max 720 Waves edition arrives in a white upper, with warped black and grey grids sitting at the laterals. A black Nike Swoosh is featured on the leather overlay. The silhouette is bulky but still feels kind of sleek at the time – we are obsessed with the shape! Signature Air Max 720 branding can be seen on the inner side of the shoe, and the bright orange lacing really makes a statement against this minimal colour palette.
