Find out when and where you can shop Jordan's new statement pair of kicks.

Jordan just introduced a new pair of kicks and they deserve your attention. Introducing the Nike Air Jordan 1 Mid "Royal". Why are we so obsessed? It's not the first time we've seen this statement colour combination and we have a feeling it won't be the last. There's a reason why it's so popular and why the Jordan brand keeps bringing it back in different silhouettes.

Release date: TBC. It will be before the end of the year though, so watch this space!

Price: Approximately $170

Where to buy: Nike. It's not confirmed whether the style will reach any of the brand's stockists at this stage. In the meantime, you can shop all things Nike from stores like JD Sports, Platypus Shoes and ASOS.

Jordan's previous "Fearless Ones" collection has led the charge for a new generation of sneakers. Nike's heritage colours (like red, blue and orange) are used in unique and interesting ways, bringing the classics back while initiating innovation.

The majority of the shoe is dressed in black leather, with some of the panels appearing to be pebbled. This adds some much needed texture. The iconic royal blue pops against the dark background – it's featured on the toe box as well as the Swoosh and the Wings. It all sits on top of a bright white midsole and the overall colour combination belongs in our sneaker rotation immediately.
