When you can shop Nike’s Air Jordan 1 Mid in “Milan”
Nike is continuing its city-obsession with a new drop inspired by Italian metropolis, Milan.
Having just announced a pair of Air Jordan 1 Lows inspired by Paris, the Swoosh has gone and set its sights on northern Italy. The first images of a new Air Jordan 1 titled "Milan" have just surfaced online and the design is already racking up a huge amount of hype.
Release date: 22 February
Price: $190
Where to buy: Nike SNKRS site, One Block Down
Inspired by the city's neoclassical architecture, the Milans arrive in an understated colourway that features pops of bone white, beige and caramel. The upper meanwhile sees a mixture of leather, suede and canvas, complete with embossed touches that serve as a nod to Milan's stonework.
Further design elements include crisp white laces, a tan outsole and a leather tag with the text "MLN" hanging from the lateral side.
The kicks are set to get an exclusive release on One Block Down's online store come 19 February. A worldwide release will then follow on 22 February, meaning that we should see the pair arrive on the Nike online store as well as in usual stockists like JD Sports and Hype DC.
In other Nike news, the label has just dropped a bright blue Air Force 1 Hi model titled "Chicago". The sneakers released yesterday as part of a range of gear Nike is releasing for the NBA All-Star Weekend.
Also on offer are two pairs of Space Jam sneakers in styles "Monstars" and "Tune Squad". Each pair arrives in the LeBron 17 silhouette, to celebrate the basketball star's upcoming appearance in Space Jam 2.
The "Monstars" pair is set to drop today at basketball apparel store Throwback from 10am (AEDT). We're also expecting to see a trailer for Space Jam 2 debut this weekend, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled.
