Nike Air Jordan 1 Paris sneaker

Say bonjour to Nike's understated new Air Jordan 1.

With Valentine's Day and Easter just around the corner, we've seen some pretty bold designs from the Swoosh lately. Now though, the label is toning things down a notch with a muted new colourway of the Air Jordan 1 Low.

Release date: 22 February (US)

Price: US$130

Where to buy: Nike SNKRS site

Inspired by the city of love, the "Paris" colourway is all about refined details. The pair arrives in a smooth white leather upper paired with pops of light grey suede on the mudguard, eye stays and Swoosh.

A contrasting light blue suede panel on the heel with a debossed Air Jordan logo offers the only hint of colour on an otherwise monochrome design. Stark white laces and a suede tongue tab featuring a similarly debossed Air Jordan logo completes the design.

The Paris sneakers are set to drop on 22 February in the US, meaning that we should be seeing them arrive in Australia shortly after. When they do become available, we'll likely see them first on the Australian Nike sneakers site, as well as in usual stockists like JD Sports.

In other Nike news, the brand is currently gearing up for the NBA All-Star Weekend with the reveal of a LeBron 17 sneaker pack inspired by Space Jam. Two pairs of kicks arrive in "Tune Squad" and "Monstars" colourways in recognition of LeBron's upcoming appearance in the film's sequel.

Nike is also re-releasing the Nike LeBron 7 in the "All-Star" colourway that was first worn by LeBron at the 2010 showdown in Dallas. The sneakers are set to relaunch today at Eastbay and Foot Locker.
