Nike Air Jordan 1 High OG Game Royal sneakers

Find out when and where the latest Air Jordan 1 design is set to drop.

UPDATE 5/5/20:

After a long wait, a release date for the kicks has finally been confirmed. You'll be able to grab yourself a pair on the Nike SNKRS site come 9 May. We're also expecting them to be available from a bunch of re-sell sites like GOAT, StockX and Waves.

While we thought the colourway was going to be called the "Game Royal", there has been some confusion over the name. The pair are now being reported as both "Royal Toe" and "White Royal", so bear that in mind when searching for them.

From the Obsidians to the Shattered Backboard 3.0s, 2019 has seen some pretty major Air Jordan 1 releases. It looks like 2020 is shaping up to be no different either with the first images of a new pair of kicks surfacing on sneaker leak 'gram HanZuYing.

Release date: 9 May 2020

Price: US$170

Where to buy: Nike SNKRS site

The design is incredibly reminiscent of Hiroshi Fujiwara's fragment design which adorned the silhouette back in 2014, with a similar mixture of leather black, white and royal blue panelling. This time around though, the style has been switched up slightly with a blue toe box and ankle collar, black panelling on the heel and white Jordan Brand Wings on the ankle.

A white midsole paired with a royal blue rubber outsole rounds out the design.

The price of the kicks is rumoured to be set at US$170, which is pretty stock standard for an Air Jordan 1 design.

The reveal follows the announcement of two pairs of limited edition Nike sneakers that will be released in January for the Chinese New Year. A bold pair of Air Max 1s sees a mixture of pink leather underlays and black suede overlays adorned with pops of gold and blue. A mythical winged horse is featured on the heel.

A pair of Air Jordan 34s will meanwhile arrive in a black and white upper with ornate panelling and pops of bright pink throughout the design.
