Flights to New Zealand have taken a tumble with Jetstar offering up its latest sale. Dubbed the "Something Around Every Corner" sale, it's flying Aussies to their New Zealand neighbour from just $163 return.

The cheapest seats are between Melbourne and Christchurch. Other flights on the lower end of the price scale are Melbourne to Auckland from $171 return, Gold Coast to Auckland from $175 return and Gold Coast to Christchurch from $176 return.

At these prices you can travel from January to May 2018, letting you cap in on the warmest months of the year and the tail-end of the Christmas holidays. However, most flights are concentrated around May, which is a quieter month as it sits in-between the peak Easter and snow seasons though still boasts beautifully cool weather.

When on sale, Jetstar has been known to drop flights under $200 return, though it rarely goes lower than $163 return – making these an exceptional find. Even if they are during the low season.

They can be booked at these prices through I Want That Flight.

This sale ends midnight, 1 December unless sold out prior.
