About Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
If you've been living under a Geodude, Pokémon is a game series that invites players to travel around a mystical region, while collecting and doing battle with a roster of creatures ranging from adorable to fearsome, and all with a range of types and abilities. Each generation typically consists of 2 to 3 very similar games, all with slightly altered storylines and selections of Pokémon.
The 9th Pokémon game generation promises an open world with Pokémon in the skies, seas, forests and streets. The 3 starter Pokémon have been revealed – the grass-type Sprigatito, fire-type Fuecoco and water-type Quaxly.
Aside from the addition of an open world, the game is likely to follow the same structure you know and love from previous games. That means pitting your Pokémon team against 8 powerful gym leaders, as well as a villainous organisation who will no doubt have some nefarious plans for you to thwart.
