New on Netflix, Prime Video, Disney Plus, Stan, BINGE and more November 2023

If you can find a way to move through space and time, there's another bunch of new releases to watch on streaming during November.

From spin offs of global juggernauts, a time lord finding a new streaming home and some of your favourites coming back with fresh episodes, there's plenty to keep you entertained throughout the month.

What's streaming on Netflix in November 2023?

New on streaming for Netflix in November is the return of one of its most popular shows, The Crown, for the first part of its final season. It will focus on the period around Princess Diana's death and the monarchy facing a reckoning. Other favourite shows returning with new episodes include Selling Sunset and Virgin River. And after the mammoth success of Squid Game comes Squid Game: The Challenge, a real-life game series inspired by the original, where one winner will walk away with $4.56 million.

After the success last month of Beckham, the next couple of famous people to get the Netflix documentary treatment in November are Sylvester Stallone and Robbie Williams.

Nw movies streaming on Netflix in November include The Killer which is about an assassin battling his employer and NYAD, based on a woman who wants to swim from Cuba to Florida.

Netflix will also make its first foray into live sport in November with the Netflix Cup, a golf tournament featuring the stars of documentary series Drive To Survive and Full Swing.

What's new to streaming on BINGE and Foxtel Now in November 2023?

BINGE will live up to its name in November if you're a fan of US crime procedurals as season 5 of FBI and seasons 21 and 22 of Law & Order get added to the service. Also look out for the return of Julia, The Great British Bake Off and Rap Sh!t.

For new shows streaming in November, there's Bookie. It's based on a veteran bookie who must adapt to a changing landscape with sports gambling set to be legalised. Or there's Unwanted, about a group of refugees who are rescued from their burning ship, but who hijack their rescuer when they find out they are being taken back to where they escaped from.

If you're after some new movies on streaming following their cinema runs, you can catch The Super Mario Bros Movie, John Wick Chapter 4 and Magic Mike's Last Dance.

These TV shows and movies will also be streaming on Foxtel Now.

What's new on Stan in November 2023?

The Stan original crime thriller Scrublands is a new series about a journalist covering the anniversary of a shooting in an isolated town, but who finds the story of the tragedy falls apart the deeper he digs. Also new on streaming in November for Stan is sci-fi thriller Orphan Black: Echoes, which is set in the same universe as the original Orphan Black.

You can catch new episodes of Sort Of and The Lazarus Project when they return to Stan in November.

The streaming service is also going big on live streams of some big events in November, with coverage of the Australian music industry's night of nights, the ARIA Awards, and country music's CMA Awards.

This month on Prime Video, look out for 007: Road to a Million. Nine pairs of everyday people will undergo a series of James Bond-inspired challenges for a shot at winning £1 million. Succession's Brian Cox is The Controller in the series, who dictates the movements of the contestants. If you're in the mood for more reality TV, Twin Love feature a social dating experiment that explores the love lives of identical twins.

If you feel like some live music, there's the concert film BTS: Yet to Come.

After a special one-off episode earlier this year, the adult animated superhero series Invincible returns with new episodes.

What's new streaming on Disney Plus in November 2023?

The big release streaming on Disney Plus this month is the debut of Doctor Who, the first episodes on its new streaming home. There will be a series of 60th anniversary specials, with the first one titled The Star Beast, dropping in November.

Disney Plus will also have the new Australian series The Artful Dodger, an irreverent follow-up to Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist. It explores the adult double life of the famous prince of thieves.

Another original series premiere is A Murder at the End of the World, a mystery where an amateur sleuth tries to solve a murder at a billionaire's remote retreat.

For a new twist on an old favourite, you can check out Faraway Downs, which is an adaptation of Baz Luhrmann's movie Australia into a 6-part series.

With the season approaching, The Santa Clauses returns with new episodes. And if you find yourself in the mood for an hilarious comedy, you can check out new movie Quiz Lady.

What's new on Paramount Plus in November 2023?

November sees the debut on Paramount Plus of NCIS: Sydney, the first-ever international series from the NCIS franchise outside of the US. Also streaming will be the untold story of the most legendary lawman in the Old West, Lawmen: Bass Reeves. Then there's dark comedy The Curse, a genre-bending series that explores how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple as they try to conceive a child while co-starring in their new home-improvement show.

A whole bunch of classic movies land on Paramount Plus in November including the Beverly Hills Cop trilogy, both Wayne's World films and Bridesmaids. If you want something new however, you can check out the comedy thriller Mafia Mamma or the hilarious Good Burger 2.

The kids won't be left out in November either with new episodes of their faves including Paw Patrol and The Patrick Star Show.

November sees Apple TV Plus drop Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. Set in the MonsterVerse which features Godzilla, King Kong and other Titans, the series tracks 2 siblings following in their father's footsteps to uncover their family's connection to the secretive organisation known as Monarch.

This month BritBox releases new episodes of Irvine Welsh's Crime. In this season, Ray Lennox is ready to return to Edinburgh Serious Crimes, keen to prove he is fully recovered from his breakdown induced by bringing Mr Confectioner to justice.

Hayu will feature a double dose of Real Housewives in November, with new episodes of both The Real Housewives of Miami and The Real Housewives of Potomac coming to the service.

The horror doesn't stop on Shudder even though Halloween will be in the rear view mirror in November. Among the new releases this month is the movie The Tank. After mysteriously inheriting an abandoned coastal property, a family accidentally unleash an ancient, long-dormant creature that has terrorised the entire region for generations.

More UK shows will land on Acorn TV in November including The Gone. An Irish detective teams up with a Kiwi cop to find an Irish couple who have vanished from a rural New Zealand town. During the search, the pair has to contend with the community's concern that the disappearances may be linked to historical murders.
