Just opened: The Boathouse Phuket, Phuket
Earlier this month The Boathouse Phuket reopened its doors after a five month renovation and is the newest hotel to join The Boutique Collection.
The property is hidden on a quiet area on Kata Beach with only 39 guestrooms and a new modern and maritime theme.
The entire property was redesigned by a Singapore-based architecture firm and is made for guests to feel like they are relaxing on a yacht while on the sea. The property also features a private beach, jacuzzi and outdoor pool.

Just opened: Kimpton The Rowan Palm Springs, Palm Springs
The first full-scale hotel built in Palm Springs in ages has opened, offering sweeping valley views and bringing an urban oasis to the city.
The 7-storey 153-room hotel is designed to reflect the colourful heritage of Palm Springs but with a modern edge. It is the first hotel and the only in Palm Springs to boast a rooftop pool.
Other amenities on the property include two restaurants, one of which serves Mediterranean and the other serves international and sharable plates on the rooftop. Two bars and spaces for meetings and events are also available.

Just opened: Clinton Hotel South Beach, Miami
The Clinton Hotel South Beach reopened last month after some major renovations that have made this luxurious property even better. The hotel is located right in the centre of South Beach and close to many attractions, shopping and entertainment.
The 88 rooms have enhanced the 1930s art deco theme and have kept the laid-back feel of the property. The hotel and restaurant have undergone upgrades as well as the pool and venue area.
New additions to the property include a Brazilian restaurant.

Opening soon: Mercure Singapore on Stevens, Singapore
A complex of two hotels, Mercure Singapore on Stevens and Novotel Singapore on Stevens, opens later this year in Singapore. It boasts a prime location only 5 minutes from the famous entertainment and shopping road, Orchard Road.
Mercure Singapore on Stevens features 518 guest rooms and a total of 772 guest rooms between both of the hotels.
The entire complex will have many amenities that include 14 restaurants, 2 outdoors pools, a tennis court and a function space for up to 500 guests.

Opening soon: Bayat Suites by Cristal, Muhayil, Saudi Arabia
Bayat Suites by Cristal open later this year in the Asir region of Saudi Arabia aiming to provide for both short and long term staying guests.
Rooms offered will be fully furnished apartments that are either two or three bedrooms. Each apartment will be equipped with a full kitchen, working desk, dining table with 6 chairs, a baby crib and more.

Gold Coast to get new luxurious airport hotel
Set to open in 2019, the yet-to-be-named hotel by Rydges is ready to make the surrounding airport area more appealing to guests. Views from the hotel will be of Kirra Beach or the airport runway. The property will be resort style and feature a pool, restaurant, viewing deck and rooftop bar.
Geelong to welcome the first new hotel in over 20 years
The largest and latest hotel is to open in Geelong in 2020 and it will mark the first IHG’s Holiday Inn brand to open in Australia that has a suites option. The property will feature 190 rooms with 40 of the rooms being suites.
