Benefit’s Gimme Brow is getting a makeover with a new name and formula!

The cult favourite brow product is coming back better than ever and here is when.

Sadly, back in October last year we bid farewell to one of Benefit's best selling products, the Gimme Brow. Gimme Brow was recalled due to faults in the formula during processing. It has been a long and hard journey for many makeup lovers to go without one of their holy grail products for so long. But now, the wait is over... the prodigal product returns!

Benefit is reportedly bringing back its new and improved Gimme Brow and it will drop this month! It's also getting a fancy new name so shoppers can distinguish between the old one and the new one. The new product is called "Gimme Brow+" and will also display some sleek new packaging to emphasise the difference.

The most important new feature of this product is the formula. Benefit voluntarily recalled the previous Gimme Brow after discovering eye irritation if applied directly to the eye. Whilst this product is meant for your eyebrows only and did not cause any irritation there, Benefit believed it no longer met its "stringent quality standards".

So what's the difference in the new formula? Well, Gimme Brow+ will contain a few updated ingredients that will meet the standard the brand sets. Visually it is said that there will be no major difference in the product, which in our opinion is a good thing. The original Gimme Brow was already such a favourite product when used on the eyebrows, why fix something if it ain't broke?

It's safe to say fans have been missing this product as some even thought it had been permanently discontinued. Many then took to Twitter to express their excitement about the return of the prodigal brow product.

So when and where can you get it?

The Gimme Brow+ will reportedly drop on the 13 March. We're unsure as to whether this is only in the US or internationally but we'll be sure to keep you updated!

Benefit is stocked at a number of retailers including Sephora, as well as Princess Polly, Adore Beauty, StrawberryNET and ASOS.
