Grace and Frankie

Available: 8th May

Here's one to get excited about: another Netflix Original, Grace and Frankie is your not-so-typical tale of former enemies turned unlikely allies, when Grace (Jane Fonda) and Frankie (Lily Tomlin) discover their husbands are gay, and are leaving them for each other. Considering its from the creators of Friends, previous Netflix originals include smash hits House of Cards and Orange is the New Black, AND you get to watch JANE FONDA deal with the fact that her husband no longer finds her sexually attractive, you'd be silly not to give at least a couple episodes a go.

Available: 21st May

Imagine: you wake up to a town where everyone over the age of 21 has died of mysterious diseases. That's the premise of Between, a survivalist thriller people that asks what happens when the government quarantines kids and teenagers and leaves them to fend for themselves? We're getting Walking Dead meets Battle Royal vibes from this one.

Jen Kirkman: I'm Gonna Die Alone (And I Feel Alone)

Available: 22nd May

Netflix is getting a reputation as the platform for side-splitting stand-up. Jen Kirkman, best known for her appearances on Chelsea Lately and the award-winning web series Drunk History, is the latest addition to that line up. Comedy gold.

Hot Girls Wanted

Available: 29th May

Sorry to disappoint, but Netflix isn't getting porn – but it IS getting an unprecedented glimpse into the porn industry. Hot Girls Wanted is produced by Rashida Jones (best known for Parks and Recreation), and is an unflinching look into a world rarely accessed by outsiders. After it's debut at Sundance Film Festival, it's premiering internationally on Netflix in May.
