Whether you're seeking an off-the-beaten-track adventure or a touch of exoticism, China Southern Airlines has the answer with its latest sale on flights to Kathmandu.
On a typical day, you'll find return fares to Nepal starting at $915, but this is not your typical day. Today, they're cut by almost half, down to $559 return on departures from Perth. This is closely followed by travel from Adelaide, starting at $567 return.
From there, you're looking at flights in the $600s, though this is still quite a good price for the journey you'll be taking. Think Melbourne to Kathmandu from $652 return and Sydney to Kathmandu from $668 return to name a few sale legs.
Travel is mostly for dates between November and December, facilitating that need for accomplishment by the end of the year. Depending on which route you take, you also stand to spend Christmas in Nepal allowing you to cash in on those public holidays and have something to brag about when your mates ask how you spent your Christmas.
As far as weather goes, November and December are optimal months to travel the country as they creep outside of monsoon season (September) and showcase dry days and blissfully cool winter temperatures of around 15°C.
