At the end of the introductory period, any remaining balance from your transfer will attract the cash advance interest rate. Please note that minimum payments are still required.

      Hi Guy,

I hope you are doing fine today. Thanks for your question.

No, it isn’t possible. Please note that you can only transfer debts from cards that have not been issued by NAB. In addition, the cards should be a non-NAB credit card or store card.

You may also see this information on the page you’re viewing. Kindly scroll down until you would see the sub-topic “Balance transfer information” under “Information and documents you need.” You may also read this page for reference.

Hi, how many cards can I balance transfer to the NAB card?

    • Staff
      JudithNovember 28, 2017Staff

      Hi CC,

I hope all is well with you today. Thanks for your question.

You can transfer debt from up to two non-NAB credit card accounts to a new NAB credit card as long as the combined total debt won’t exceed 90% of your approved credit limit. Note that balance transfer requests are subject to NAB’s lending criteria and approval.

You may find the said information on this page.

Please take time to review the relevant information as well as the Product Disclosure Information / Terms & Conditions for you to be able to make a sound decision and choose the one that suits your needs.

      I hope this helps.

      Cheers,
      Judith

We would like to apply for the NAB premium card however they haven’t provided a minimum repayment. Is there a minimum monthly repayment on this card with a balance transfer and if so what is the %?

    • Default Gravatar
      JonathanNovember 7, 2017

      Hi Katie,

Thank you for your inquiry. Standard computation for the minimum monthly payment is $25 or 2% of the closing balance, whichever is greater.

It is worth noting that if you are on a balance transfer program, you may consider paying off the balance transfer in full before your promotion expires, to avoid attracting cash advance rates for the remaining unpaid balance.

You can review NAB Credit Cards Terms and Conditions • General explanatory information • Information statement effective 07.11.2016 for more details about the payment required computation and/or talk to a consultant.

      Hope this helps.

      Cheers,
      Jonathan

Can I balance transfer to pay off debt on my wife’s credit card while applying for NAB Premium Card – Exclusive Offer?

    • Default Gravatar
      GruOctober 24, 2017

      Hello Vivek,

      Thank you for your question.

According to NAB’s terms and conditions, you may pay off the debt of your wife’s credit card under this clause:
“You may request NAB to provide credit to pay out another credit card contract maintained with NAB, or with any other person. However, NAB may refuse a request at NAB’s discretion”

To gain confirmation on this, please feel free to reach out to NAB directly.
You may click on the Go To Site button found on the page above and scroll down the page you would be directed to for their “Contact Us” page.

      Hope this helped.

      Cheers,
      Gru

What is the maximum amount you can ask to transfer to the 24 month 0% interest credit card by NAB? Thanks!

    • Default Gravatar
      JonathanOctober 20, 2017

      Hi Lee,

      Thank you for your inquiry.

The maximum amount you can transfer would be 90% of your approved limit, on which NAB would determine after their credit assessment.

It is worth noting that each balance transfer amount needs to be at least $200 and there are no interest-free days on purchases during a balance transfer. Once you’re approved, they’ll usually process the transfer within 5 – 10 business days so keep this in mind if you have a payment due on your old card.

      Hope this helps.

      Cheers,
      Jonathan

      Hi Sally,

      Thank you for your inquiry.

The only accounts that can be balance transferred are non-NAB credit or store card accounts issued in Australia.

Regarding the NAB 0% balance transfer exclusive offer, when I click the ‘go to site’ button, the T&C are contradictory to the T&C finder promotes, specifically this bit:

“^ After 6 months, any unpaid balance transfers will attract the standard cash advance rate”

So is it 24 months interest free on balance transfer or 6 months? because it states 6 months in the fine print.

      Hi Mk,
