This card charges a reasonable annual fee and offers interest-free terms on Myer purchases as well as bonus MYER one shopping credits. You can get as many as 62 interest-free days on purchases by paying the account’s closing balance in full before the due date on each statement.

Benefits of the Myer Card

  • Shopping credits. If you’re not an existing MYER one member, you get free enrolment to the program. When you use this card to make purchases at Myer you get 1 bonus shopping credit for every dollar you spend. This means you earn three shopping credits for every dollar you spend. When you have earned 2,000 credits, you automatically receive a $20 MYER one Reward Card that you can use for purchases in-store.
  • More MYER one benefits. Membership to this rewards programs brings with it a range of exclusive offers for MYER one members, VIP invitations to various special events, and a free copy of Emporium magazine with any in-store purchase.
  • Interest-free offers. From time to time, Myer cardholders can take advantage of special interest-free promotions, which range from 3 months to as many as 48 months.

  • Annual fee. The Myer Card attracts a nominal annual fee of $39 that you have to pay every year for as long as you keep using the card.
  • Interest-free days. If you pay the account’s closing balance in full before the statement due date, you can get up to 62 interest-free days on purchases.

How to apply for the Myer Card

You can apply for the Myer Card by visiting your closest Myer store, or you can apply online. Applying online takes no more than a few minutes, but before applying, establish if you meet the required eligibility criteria:

  • You’re a permanent Australian resident
  • You’re at least 18 years old

Required documents

  • Personal details like your name, address, phone number, date of birth and Australian driver’s license number
  • Financial details about your income, assets, expenses, and liabilities
  • Your employer’s name and contact details

While this card rewards you when you shop at Myer, it can only be used for spending at the department store.     I have been a Myer one customer for many years and have purchased goods and petrol on this card but have not received a gift benefit on this card for a long time. I would like to know why this is?

      With Myer Card the available reward program is you can get as many as 62 interest-free days on purchases by paying the account’s closing balance in full before the due date on each statement. You can always check directly with the provider about the other reward programs that they may offer based on the card that you currently have.
