Mr Robot is teasing fans with more riddles for SDCC

And it would've gotten away with it if it weren't for those meddling redditors.

Mr Robot is back at it again. In the wee hours of the morning, subscribers to E Corp's mailing list received a letter of thanks from the shady conglomerate. The email expressed its gratitude for E coin users, while reassuring customers that fsociety's five-nine attacks have done little to shake the foundations of the greedy corporation. However, as any Mr Robot fan knows, that's not all there is to it.

Mr Robot's ARG (alternate reality game) has become a rat's nest of threads with a lot of loose ends. Luckily, we have the dedicated folks over at Reddit to dig through the details and solve the mysteries for us. Last year's QR code mystery was more or less solved; a Reddit user discovered an associated domain to Confictura Industries that revealed some artwork (supposedly) from Elliot's journal and allowed fans to sign up to the mailing list that delivered news on Mr Robot's VR experience, a mysterious web game and the fantastic E Corp messaging game from Night School Studios. The same mailing list that has delivered this last clue.

The latest email links you to an E Coin website where there's a website advertising Red Wheelbarrow BBQ (The Red Wheelbarrow is a poem by William Carlos Williams and a recurring motif throughout Season 2) and an E Corp login.

Redditors and future Scrabble champions managed to unjumble an anagram that spelled "use promo code enlightenment". Of course, using that code led to yet another clue, the mysterious message below.

The line "ask an employee at red wheelbarrow if they're hiring" isn't out of the realm of possibility this week because Mr Robot has set up a pop-up Red Wheelbarrow BBQ restaurant (where you can actually order food) and an E Coin booth at San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) this week.

Some punters, luckier than us, have managed to visit the pop-up in person. What followed was a series of real-life puzzles throughout the streets of San Diego that immerse you in the Mr Robot universe. We'll keep you updated if anything particularly juicy comes from the event.

Meanwhile, the riddle from last year's season finale remains unsolved. There was a moment where Eliot broke the fourth wall (as he's known to do) and asked the audience if "they could look, could they see anything?" as the camera panned very slowly around his apartment.

Mr Robot Season 3 will be available on Foxtel Now when it releases October 2017.
