When the Moschino x H&M collaboration will launch in stores

The launch date is fast approaching and we already want this entire collection.

The reveal and launch of this collaboration have been a long time coming. The Moschino and H&M collaboration was announced way back in the year at the American Festival Coachella where supermodel, Gigi Hadid wore a piece from the collection.

Jeremy Scott, the designer for Moschino, has attempted to create an understandable and meaningful collection for the H&M audience and we honestly think he's hit the nail on the head. Moschino is known for taking its inspiration from pop culture references like its McDonald's and Barbie themed apparel. So the strong 90s Disney theme within this collection comes as no surprise.

The collection's lookbook was revealed on 11 October and was jam-packed with memorable and iconic Disney characters. You can expect to see your favourites like Mickey and Minnie Mouse accompanied by other OG characters like Goofy and Donald Duck.

The Moschino x H&M collection consists of many 90s trend fashion pieces like hockey jerseys, graphic tees, sweatshirts, matching tracksuits. It also pays homage to the classic television of MTV and Disney.

In an interview with W, Scott explained his decision to incorporate so many nostalgia-inducing characters into the collection.

"Globally, you see a circle and then another two circles and nothing else—and it’s like Mickey Mouse. It makes you think about happiness and joy, and that is something that I think is really great and something I always try to put into all of my designs," Scott said in the interview.

He went on to explain how he wants his designs to be more accessible to the public. By having more and more people able to wear his designs is the ultimate compliment for the creator.

So mark your calendars people because this is not a collection you will want to miss out on. The collection will launch online and in stores on the 8 November. However, the collaboration will only be offered in select stores and online at the H&M website so keep your eyes peeled for more updates.
