Look out beauty junkies! It looks like Morphe will be opening up a store (or two) in Australia very soon.
In some very exciting retail news, it looks like cult favourite brand Morphe will be opening up its very first Australian store at some point in 2019.
Although there has been no official confirmation from Morphe, we do know that the brand is actively recruiting for Australian staff, especially in Melbourne. The job advertisements are visible on the au.morphe.com/pages/careers page, where four Melbourne-based roles are currently being advertised. An assistant store manager, an associate store manager, a beauty artist and a key holder. Check out the screenshot below.
But that's not it, there are also job ads for a Melbourne-based Morphe store on Linkedin. In addition to the assistant store manager, associate store manager, beauty artist and key holder roles, a store manager position is listed on Linkedin which drops a hint that we will be seeing the launch of the Morphe store sooner rather than later.
The position description details that the brand is "looking to open new stores in the Melbourne area later this year". Which means that we could be seeing multiple Morphe stores landing in Melbourne. And they'll be launching sometime in 2019 – so we'll be seeing these Morphe stores sometime within the next four months!
We'll be keeping our eyes peeled for more details as they emerge. So stay tuned for more information as we hear about it.
Morphe is a cult brand for a reason. Its beautifully pigmented eyeshadow palettes are not just high quality, they're also crazily affordable. The brand has also been heralded for its whopping 60-shade foundation range. And let's not forget that Morphe has the hands-down best influencer collaborations – including the fabulous Jaclyn Hill palette, the James Charles palette and the Bretman Rock palette.
Of course, Morphe is one of the limited stockists of Jeffree Star and essentially the ONLY physical store that carries Jeffree Star's products on the shelves. So, we Australian beauty lovers might have a place we can go to swipe and swatch Jeffree Star before we buy! Exciting times. Stay tuned.
