PSA: Morphe Brushes is coming to MECCA

If you're one of the million fans around the world that is utterly, totally and completely enamoured with Morphe Brushes – and you also happen to live in Australia – we have some very exciting news for you. Morphe Brushes is coming to MECCA stores. No, this is not a drill.
Gone are the days of watching the Fluidity Foundation launch online and taking a gamble on which shade will match you. And say goodbye to the times when you asked your cousin who lives in the US to Facetime and swatch the 35G Bronze palette to see if the colour pay-off is really that good. Very soon, you'll be able to test, try and play all yourself in MECCA stores.
So, the all-important question is, when will we see Morphe products start to drop into MECCA stores? Well, we initially thought that the launch into MECCA would tie in with the opening of Morphe stores in Melbourne later this year. But a quick Google search reveals that we'll be seeing Morphe in MECCA much sooner than we thought – this month in fact. It looks like Morphe Brushes will be dropping into MECCA on 24 September.
MECCA made the announcement on Instagram on 9 September. The brand posted a series of Instagram pictures each captioned with: "We're blending the rules: @morphebrushes coming soon #MorpheAtMECCA".
As you can expect, the news was met with a ton of hype. Each of the three posts racked up thousands of likes and frenzied comments. The excitement is very real.

The next question we have is, does this mean that we could potentially see Jeffree Star come to MECCA stores too? If you're a Jeffree Star fan, you'll know that the only place you can shop this brand in-store is at Morphe Brushes stores in the USA. You can also buy JS at Morphe online. So, since Morphe and Jeffree Star are brands that are reasonably intertwined, could this open the door for Jeffree Star products to make their way into a MECCA store near you? At this stage, there is no real way to tell. But we have a feeling that this is a launch that may not be that far off!
While we wait with bated breath for this dream scenario, we'll just have to start preparing (and saving) for all the fabulous Morphe goodies we're about to buy.
