Money Hack Goget 2

Save 25% on CBD cars in major cities, as well as Orange.

Australians will take any reason for a long weekend, and celebrating the Queen's Birthday months after the fact (her real birthday is 21 April) is as good an excuse as any.

If you're looking to take advantage of the last vestiges of autumnal weather, the upcoming June long weekend may be your final chance before bunkering down for the winter. But getting around our vast island nation can be difficult, especially if you don't have access to a car.

The hack

As they often do with big events or public holidays, GoGet is offering discounts on vehicles booked for 24-72 hours between 3pm Friday and 11am Tuesday next week.

As the vehicles are not going to be taken by businesses that normally use them, GoGet will give you 25% off.

The discount applies to all vehicles (excluding premium vehicles) within CBD carparks in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, as well as cars in Canberra and Orange.

So if you fancy a trip to the nation's capital, or want to sample some of New South Wales' best wines, now is as good a time as any. You can even make an adventure of it by taking the train to Orange and then using the car to get around.

To take advantage of the offer, you just need to enter the code GoQUEEN when booking your vehicle through GoGet to enjoy 25% off. You can also get free sign up for their premium GoFrequent account.
