Money Hack: Earn a boatload of Qantas Points with Qantas Assure

Take out income protection from Qantas Assure before 31 August and earn up to 100,000 Qantas Points.
Income protection provides you with a safety-net in the event you can't work. These policies generally cover up to 75% of your regular income and can provide you with a steady stream of income for up to five years.
Very useful, but not exciting like most insurance products. Right?
Well, to spice things up, Qantas Assure is allowing you to earn points just for taking out insurance ...

The hack
If you're in need of an income protection policy, have a look at Qantas Assure.
Until 31 August 2017, Qantas Assure Life Protect are doubling their normal sign-up bonus for new customers from 50,000 to 100,000 Qantas Points.
The minimum premium to earn sign-up bonus points is $40 but those wanting to earn the full 100,000 will need to take out a policy with a minimum monthly premium of $160.
But the points don't stop there. Qantas Frequent Flyer members can earn 1 Qantas Point for every dollar spent on their premiums.
And if that isn't enough points for you, you're also able to earn more points just for keeping healthy.
Just like the Qantas Assure Health Insurance policies, members who participate in healthy activities can earn Qantas Points by logging their progress in the Qantas Assure app.
The app monitors progress such as your daily step goals through a connected wearable device such as an Apple Watch or FitBit.
