Barefoot Telecom offers a range of postpaid SIM-only mobile phone plans.
What services does Barefoot Telecom offer?
Barefoot Telecom’s SIM-only post paid services are offered on Optus’ 4G networks. All plans are offered on a SIM-only basis, so you’ve got to bring your own handset to utilise Barefoot Telecom’s postpaid plans. They’re all offered on what Barefoot Telecom calls a "no contract" basis, but the reality there is that they’re effectively month-to-month plans.
How much does Barefoot Telecom cost?
Barefoot Telecom offers five postpaid plan tiers, with pricing ranging from $19 to $79 per month. The two lowest tiers ("Super Lite" and "Lite") include 300 calling minutes, after which calls are charged at $1.40 per minute. The Super Lite tier includes 500 SMS or MMS messages, after which they cost 30c each. All tiers above Super Lite offer unlimited standard national SMS and MMS, and all tiers above Lite come with unlimited standard national calls.
Data inclusions vary by plan tier, but extra data is charged at a flat $9 per GB, which is very competitive.
Barefoot Telecom also charges a one-off set $11.99 delivery fee for the mobile SIM for each plan.
What extras does Barefoot Telecom offer?
Barefoot Telecom’s offering sells itself on its simplicity and the fact that it offers effective month-to-month contracts, but other than that extras aren’t really a big part of its value proposition.
