Your first look at Miley Cyrus’ collaboration with Converse
We can't stop and we won't stop loving this upcoming collaboration!
Miley Cyrus is known for her out there fashion style and if we're honest we're kind of living for it. Therefore, it came as no surprise that the iconic fashion brand, Converse, wanted to collaborate with the singer. Lucky for us, we got our first sneak peek yesterday at what we can expect from the partnership and it's definitely got us excited.
One thing we can say about the upcoming line is that it's got a bright future. Miley rocked some vibrant colours in the sneak peaks posted on her Instagram. Converse, is showcasing this collaboration as “Forever Chuck. For Every Miley.” and hinting that this footwear is durable, weather-resistant and made to last. The first we saw was a very vintage polaroid of her rocking a yellow t-shirt and some yellow tinted glasses that are giving us those strong 90s vibes.
If you scroll below, you'll see that Miley is definitely a fan of red wearing some red sweatpants, a matching jacket and again matching tinted sunglasses. It's definitely the shoes that stand out here though as she rocks the signature converse high tops we all know and love.
That's not all though. Miley embraced her blue colours where you can see her at the beach wearing a knit jumper, denim shorts and holding a pair of bright aqua low top Converse sneakers.
However, the standout of this entire collaboration has to be the glitter, yes, glitter platform sneakers. The photo is in black and white but looks as though the sneakers are a fairly dark colour (probably black). They have a glitter sole and laces because you can never really have too much glitter and it's Miley Cyrus people, of course it's going to be a little different. The shoes have a lovely Miley touch to them with her initials "MC" inside a smiley face feature on the side of the heel.
Miley has stated that there are more details to come and we're already getting keen. We don't have an official release date but you can shop the range of converse sneakers directly from the Converse website, Nike or stockists such as General Pants or Glue Store.
