Snuggle up with some big deals on Overcooked, Don't Starve Together, Rocket League and more.

Flowers and chocolates are great and all, but the best Valentine's Day gifts are those you and your loved one can enjoy together. Video games are perfect for this. Teaming up in a compelling co-op game or jointly adventuring through an emotional narrative title can bring two people even closer together, forging a meaningful bond through mutual experience.

Microsoft gets this. Rather than throwing a Valentine's Day Sale focusing on the handful of games you could feasibly categorise as "romantic", the Xbox One manufacturer has discounted a bunch of charming indie games to celebrate the cheesiest day of the year.

From the frantic co-operative cooking of Overcooked to the desperate group survival of Don't Starve Together, there's a game here for couples of all types and tastes. For the fresh-faced lovers, The Jackbox Party Pack 4 is a great way to uncover your partner's sense of humour. For wizened couples, meanwhile, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime will prove once and for all just how effective a team you and your significant other are.

If you're ready to take your relationship to the next level (sorry), check out our top picks from the Microsoft Store Valentine's Day indie sale below:
