Save up to 60% on Xbox One games with The Game Awards sale
Microsoft Store has discounted Destiny 2, Call of Duty: WWII, Assassin's Creed Origins and more in celebration of today's video game award show.
Today marks the fourth annual run of The Game Awards, a celebration of the year in games as hosted by renowned video game presenter Geoff Keighley. Along with the all-important Game of the Year award and the many exclusive reveals the show is known for, The Game Awards also tends to inspire a bunch of tie-in sales, with various retailers discounting the titles nominated across the show's many categories.
Microsoft is doing just that, slashing up to 60% off a range of nominees on the Microsoft Store. The usual suspects like Call of Duty: WWII, Destiny 2 and Assassin's Creed Origins are all present and accounted for, of course, but there's also plenty of smaller titles on sale like the 1930s' animation-inspired platformer Cuphead, the fast-paced teleportation shooter Mr. Shifty and my personal pick of the show Life is Strange: Before the Storm.
Discounts range from a light 10% to a solid 60% off, making for some sweet deals to flesh out your holiday gaming plans. And thanks to Microsoft recently implementing digital gifting, you can purchase a game as a Christmas present for family or friends just like you would with a physical copy.
We've rounded up our top picks of the sale below, or you can head on over to the Microsoft Store to browse the full line-up.
