MGallery is bringing a new $380 million hotel, bar and art gallery to Sydney
A new MGallery jewel is coming to Sydney CBD.
Take a walk through the upcoming Porter House Hotel, MGallery by Sofitel. This $380 million construction will find a place on the corner of Bathurst and Castlereigh Streets near the heart of Sydney CBD. The name comes from the existing Porter House building in the spot, which will be revitalised and worked into the new hotel.
Welcome to the latest development by AccorHotels, who we can thank for the luxury boutiques by MGallery by Sofitel. It's set to be a stunner and when completed, will likely join the ranks of the best bars in Sydney, as well as one of the finest hotels.
121 rooms will be set aside for hotels, from levels 1 to 9, underneath 131 residential apartments from floors 10 to 34.
A bar with skywards views will take its position on the 4th floor, which will most likely be a prominent abutment on the otherwise vertical tower.
No expense will be spared on the decor either, with the contemporary lobby art, and boutique room fixtures joining a roving art gallery inside the building itself to deliver a fresh experience.
Construction is set to begin in December 2018, due for completion in 2020.
