Read on to see the most popular pieces and styling we witnessed at Fashion Week 2017.

The competition is fierce at MBFWA, you’ve got to look your best, most authentic, original self - and its gotta be in season too. After you’ve taken the pressure of that away, it’s just a lot of fun to dress up and even more fun to people watch. Love it or hate it, here are the key styles we saw out the front of Carriageworks… #MBFWA

Pleated skirts

Midi, mini or full length, the pleated skirt is back in bold metallics, tulle and bright colours, worn dressed down with boots and your favourite biker for the ultimate street style look.

Thigh high boots

We saw plenty of pretty women walking down the street in these bad boys. Teamed with billowing feminine skirts, over jeans or with a mini skirt, these are the ultimate statement shoes for your collection.

Raw hem denim

The popularity of raw hem denim has really taken off over the last year, generally worn in a slim boyfriend style cut. If you can stand to do it, take a pair of scissors to your favourite pair of Levi’s to achieve the look.
