Get the details about the new Marc Jacobs line set to expand its range of complexion shades.
Marc Jacobs has proved time and time again that its makeup is nothing short of flawless. Managing that perfect balance of great coverage with a natural looking finish, the brand has long been a staple of our makeup bags. So, when we see news that the beauty mogul is releasing anything new, we know it's unlikely to disappoint.
Breaking beauty 'gram, Trendmood, announced the newest line from Marc Jacobs yesterday, giving us a first look at the new products. The Accomplice collection is all about complexion, offering up 17 shades of stick concealer alongside 4 shades of powder. Whilst it might not be as many shades as we had hoped for, there's a chance that more shades will be introduced when the collection drops.
In the meantime, there's still a lot to be excited about. The available concealer and touch-up stick shades cater to a range of skin tones, separated into categories of light, medium, tan and deep. From what we can see of the swatches, the new concealer is both highly pigmented and full coverage, making it great for covering those blemishes that pop up on the worst possible days.
Whilst the formula seems quite heavy-duty, French makeup artist Morgane Martini suggests thinning it out with the Marc Jacobs coconut primer for an under eye concealer that will make you look like you've had a full eight hours sleep instead of five.

The Accomplice collection also comprises of four Instant Blurring Beauty Powders which will feature pearl pigments to get you glowing and filter out any imperfections. You can also use them to set makeup and reduce shine, helping you to look flawless in true Marc Jacobs style. The powders will be available in shades Ingenue, Siren, Muse and Starlet.
Best of all, the brush is magnetised, sliding right into its compact much more smoothly than that guy from your high school keeps sliding into your DMs.
When and where can you shop the collection?
According to Trendmood, the Accomplice concealers will be available from 21 March from Sephora, with the powders becoming available in store on 3 May. The Instant Blurring Beauty Powder is set to retail for $49, whilst the concealer sticks will be $32, which is a pretty good bargain for a designer brand.
Marc Jacobs' expansion of its complexion range is no surprise. Several makeup brands are now recognising the demand for a more inclusive market. Rihanna really got the ball rolling with the release of her Fenty range of 40 foundation shades, with brands like CoverGirl and Morphe quickly following suit to include a wider range of shades.
