Beauty product of the week: Manuka Doctor Purifying Facial Peel

If you're looking for a simple mask that actually works then listen up.

Why we love this product

I am definitely lazy when it comes to skin care. I've tried multiple times to dedicate proper time every day to a fancy facial routine but alas, it just hasn't happened. Therefore, I always like products that allow me to get a thing done quickly where I don't have to stand around in the bathroom waiting till I can wash it off.

Introducing the Manuka Doctor Purifying Peel Mask. When I discovered this bad boy I immediately felt the need to try it out. The factor I love the most about this face mask is that it dries and you peel it off. There is no messy wash off process that leaves your sink and bathroom looking like you had a fight with the tap.

When applying this mask I used a foundation paddle brush to avoid wasting the product on my fingers and it allowed me more control over where I placed the mask. Having skin that isn't amazing, I placed it everywhere, focusing more on my chin and forehead.

Watching this mask dry was quite literally like watching a magic show. You could literally see exactly where the pimples on my face were and the mask pulling out all the impurities. I left it on for 15 minutes so that it was completely dry and then began peeling it off.

Let me start by saying this is not going to give you the pain of blackhead masks. This did not hurt in the slightest. My skin looked amazing. Of course, I'm not going to peel a mask off and have my face looking like it did when I was 5 and blemishless, but it definitely looked and felt so much cleaner. It lifts dead skin cells, stimulates cell renewal and purifies pores.

Through combining the purified bee venom and manuka honey with fruit extracts and botanicals, skin is left glowing and in prime health.

In my eyes, this face mask is definitely affordable for the quality you get. It retails for $40 so there are definitely more expensive face masks out there, but I will admit this isn't the cheapest. I've been using this mask at least once a week and I definitely don't feel like I've even made a dent in it so you're going to get your money's worth, and for me, that's a good investment.

Where you can buy it

Lucky for us Australians, you can purchase the range of Manuka Doctor from Priceline. If peel masks aren't your thing, you can purchase the wash off version and that's a tick in our books.
