Maldives flights from $422 return
Relax and unwind with these sale fares to paradise for half the price.Paradise is within reach with these off-season sale fares to the Maldives. Once a destination just for the wealthy or honeymooners seeking out luxury, the Maldives has recently become a location that anyone can enjoy thanks to budget airlines offering deeply discounted fares.
Other airlines are charging up to double the price on these routes.
Sale fares are also available flying from the Gold Coast from $543, Sydney from $557 or Melbourne from $590. Prices are for round-trip travel with travel dates from 13 March to 26 October.
Checked bags and extras aren’t included but hopefully, with just beach time on your hands, you only need to pack light. If not, they can be added on for a small fee.
How good are these fares?
The wet season is from May to October so these are not the ideal travel dates but if you’re willing to weather through some afternoon rains then you’ll be rewarded with much fewer crowds.
It’s good news for budget travellers as you are likely to bag a bargain on accommodation as well. The wet season is also a great time to visit if you’re interested in snorkelling or diving as the cooler water temperatures attract hammerhead and reef sharks.
To book: We're betting these tickets won’t be on sale very long so if you're eyeing a trip to this tropical paradise make sure to book in the next few days. Head to I Want That Flight for full details and to book your seat.
