Last-minute and winter flights to paradise for a fraction of the price.

AirAsia is starting the week off with some lust-worthy flight deals to the Maldives. If you've been picturing yourself on a tropical beach, drink in hand, eating some fresh local seafood with a view to die for then it could be time to book that holiday.

You can fly to Malé, Maldives from Perth for $372 on select dates in March. There are also cheap fares from Melbourne from $490 and Sydney from $495.

Flights are available for travel in March and also selected dates from April to July. Checked bags and extras aren’t included.

Need some travel inspo? Check out our list of heavenly Maldives hotels and you might even be able to get return flights plus a week of 4-star accommodation for under $700 per person.

This sale has no specific end date and is available until sold out. It can be booked through Skyscanner here.

How good are these fares?

Sale fares are on par with what we’ve seen in the last year and you're saving up to $100 on a recent AirAsia sale with travel dates in the less popular rainy season.

The cheapest we've seen was for $337 return with AirAsia as well but for much lesser selection of travel dates.

Weather-wise, the best time to visit the Maldives is from November to April but the peak season ends in March so we suggest grabbing one of those April dates. You’ll get picture perfect weather and avoid the crowds in your holiday selfies.

If you're into diving or snorkelling then the later dates can still be a steal, especially if you’re coupling it with some indoor spa time.
