First look: Mac is about to release studio fix concealers
Good things come to those who wait and this concealer is definitely worth the wait!
UPDATE: It's been a little while since we've heard anything about these concealers but never fear, they are on the way!
MAC Cosmetics has thankfully given us an update on the upcoming studio fix concealers and we just need all of them already. The most important message surrounding these concealers is that they are coming soon!
In the video uploaded to Instagram, the makeup artist showed the concealer in his hands and these pack some serious pigment. The artist had tattoos and when these concealers went over the ink, the tattoos practically disappeared. Therefore, you can practically say goodbye to dark under eye circles and hello to looking like you've had 12 hours sleep.
In the video, the artist used a small dense buffing brush to apply the concealer making us think it's probably a thicker consistency, which makes sense as it is set to last for 24 hours.
This update comes off the back of Huda Beauty announcing her upcoming concealers and we're about to be overwhelemed by some pretty awesome products.
Basically, we just need MAC to hurry up and release this concealer because we need this product.
MAC cosmetics is definitely one of the most iconic makeup brands on the market. It not only produces top knotch foundations, bronzers, lipsticks and more but it's widely available around Australia. Plus, after the success of the Lunar New Year collection, we were definitely expecting to see big and exciting things from the brand.
Now, we've gotten a sneak peek of what to expect next from the beauty brand and it does not disappoint. MAC cosmetics will be releasing a 24 hour Studio Fix concealer in a whopping 34 shades. I must admit, I breathed a sigh of relief after seeing the extensive shade range as inclusivity in makeup has been a hot topic. After Tarte Cosmetic's 15 shade foundation range and IT Cosmetics' 12 shade foundation range, MAC obviously listened when it thought about its upcoming shade range.
MAC Cosmetics already has a Studio Fix Foundation, which has a matte finish with medium to full coverage. MAC states its foundation "applies, builds and blends easily and evenly. Comfortable and long-wearing, it helps minimise the appearance of pores and imperfections, giving skin a smoother, more flawless look and finish". If that's anything to go on, this concealer is sounding pretty fabulous.
We're still waiting for a few more details surrounding this concealer, like a launch date, but you can purchase MAC Cosmetics from MECCA, David Jones, Myer and the MAC website for more great launches – from Patrick Starr's collection to the Sia red lipstick, there's plenty on offer.
