Christmas is getting even better with the holiday release from Lunar Beauty.

November and December are the months we see holiday collections from the major beauty brands. We have loved the Patrick Starrr x Mac Cosmetics collection, the Jeffree Star Cosmetics holiday collection and the Kylie Jenner Kristmas collection.

Lunar Beauty broke out into the beauty community earlier this year with the very successful Life's a Drag eyeshadow palette. Now, the brand has announced the second drop of colour cosmetics.

Manny MUA has been working on his holiday collection for Lunar Beauty since January, and it's obvious how much work he has put into the quality of the products and packaging. The new collection is called the Greek Goddess Holiday Collection, and we can't deny how obsessed we are.

Manny reveals in his YouTube video how he loved Greek mythology since he was young and felt inspired to create a five-piece holiday collection.

What's inside the Lunar Beauty Greek Goddess Holiday collection?

The Lunar Beauty Greek Goddess collection includes five products that look perfect for the holiday season. The Greek Goddess colour palette comes in black and gold packaging with a giant Medusa head on the front of the palette. Inside, there is a mirror and 15 eyeshadows with Manny describing them as "a colour story on what a Greek goddess would wear on her eyes." The colour palette retails for US$48 and is the same formula as Life's a Drag, which means it is cruelty-free.

The other palette in the collection is a highlighting palette. Manny's glow is always on point, so we are very excited about the release of his own highlighter set. Prepare to glow to the heavens with six universal shades. The packaging is similar to the eyeshadow palette, but the colour scheme is white and gold. The packaging looks luxe and expensive – just what we would expect from Manny MUA. The highlighting palette retails for US$40. From left to right, the shade names are Harpy, Muse, Siren, Phoenix, Medusa and Sphinx.

Lunar Beauty did not stop there, ladies and gentlemen. The holiday collection also features two liquid lipsticks and a gloss that looks to die for.

There is a blue-toned true red named after the goddess of beauty Aphrodite and a terracotta universal nude called Zaya. The liquid lipsticks retail for US$18 and are a comfort matte formula. This means they may transfer slightly, but you can rub your lips together with no flaking and can re-apply the colour with ease.

The gloss seems to be the stand-out. Retailing for US$17, it's called Selene and it's a nude gloss with gold reflects.

The packing used for the lip capsules really shows off the hard work Manny MUA has put into the holiday collection for Lunar Beauty. There is a floating diamond on the lid of every lip product, which we have never seen before from a beauty brand. The applicators have sharp edges, making it easy to apply with no lip-liner needed. And of course the most important thing you need to know – the lipsticks smell like cupcake batter. Lunar Beauty is killing it at the moment.

The full holiday collection also comes in a bundle that you can purchase for approximately US$112.

Manny revealed some news in his YouTube video regarding how long the holiday collection will stick around. Unfortunately, the highlighter palette and lip collection are limited editions because they are only for the holiday season. BUT, Manny did say that he will be releasing lip products permanently for Lunar Beauty in 2019. On the bright side, he hasn't decided whether to keep the eyeshadow palette as part of the permanent collection so fingers crossed he makes the right decision!

When and where can you buy the collection?

The collection is currently available on Lunar Beauty, and we recommend getting in quick because the Lunar Beauty Greek Goddess collection won't be around for long.
