London flights from $979 return

Posted: 20 March 2018 9:39 am

Fly full-service from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane into December 2018.

Flight Centre is taking the high price tag out of flights to the UK and sending Aussies to London from less than $1,000 return.

Prices start from $979 return when taking off from Melbourne with Philippine Airlines.

You can also get cheap fares from Sydney for $996 return and Brisbane from $999 return. Travel is for a huge selection of dates between April and December.

You can choose to do your sightseeing in London’s summer from June to August or focus your sights on the best time to go to London, September to November.

The weather will be mild, the crowds would have dwindled and all of the main attractions are still available to visit. Many festivals and annual events also happen in autumn, like the colourful Guy Fawkes night.

These prices are only available until 31 March unless seats sell out. You can secure yours today through Flight Centre here.

How good are these fares?

When we compared sales with similar peak travel dates, these are just slightly higher than the lowest fares, with previous sales running closer to $950 return.

Sure, flying budget can get that down to $876 return in the best of times, but for less than $100 more why not have the added extras like checked luggage and in-flight meals?
