Samoa's Rugby World Cup matches begin on 24 September. All Samoa's matches are available in Australia to watch on TV or live stream.

Once a regular top 10 ranked side in the world, Samoa have begun to tumble down the rankings, currently sitting at number 16. Several issues have plagued the side, but the biggest problem is the financial problems being experienced.

The Samoan team are also known by the name of Manu Samoa.

Samoa were defeated by Australia in a Rugby World Cup warm-up match but exceeded expectations, keeping the margin narrower than most predicted.

Drawn into Pool A of the tournament the Samoans will consider winning two games as a successful World Cup. Samoa vs Japan is on Sunday 6 October at 8:30pm AEST and beating the higher ranked host nation is a realistic accomplishment.
