How to watch Aston Villa vs Leicester City Carabao Cup semi-final live and free
Aston Villa host Leicester City in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final. It's simply win and earn a final spot or go home.
Aston Villa and Leicester played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final. Villa got in front early via Frédéric Guilbert. Leicester nabbed a second half equaliser from Kelechi Iheanacho ensuring the second leg would be the decider.
Back in 2016, Leicester City stunned the world with their unlikely triumph in the English Premier League. They then endured some difficult times, but under manager Brendan Rodgers, they are back competing on a number of fronts in English football.
That 2015/16 season spelled the end of Aston Villa's time in the Premier League. Former champions of England and Europe, the Villans spent three long seasons in the Championship before earning promotion via the play-offs. This is likely both teams' only opportunity to get a chance to add a trophy to the cabinet this season.

Who will win Aston Villa vs Leicester Carabao Cup semi-final?
While going off their EPL form Leicester are the superior side, these tournaments dish up surprises more often than not.
Still this is a very tight semi-final to call. Leicester City have dropped from second to third in the EPL since the first leg. While Aston Villa have managed to climb a single spot to 16th.
Back during the first game we said that if Aston Villa could share the spoils in the opening leg, then we think they are a big chance of sneaking through to the final in the return leg at home.
So let's stick with that theory and back the underdogs in.
