Rugby union is the most popular sport in Fiji and while the sevens format draws more fanfare, it doesn't mean that the traditional 15-a-side isn't also loved. Known simply as the Flying Fijians, the nickname is an accurate representation of how Fiji play.

Fiji are currently the ninth best team in the world according to the world rugby rankings. In Japan this year the Fijians are in Pool D, alongside heavyweights Australia and Wales, who will presumably make it hard for Fiji to progress past the pool stage. However, Fiji are favourites to defeat Georgia and Uruguay which would put them in a position to potentially progress.

If Fiji do have two wins under their belt heading into the last game against Wales, all eyes would be on the clash as they could be capable of playing spoiler and knocking out one of the more fancied sides. Fiji vs Wales kicks off at 8:45pm on Wednesday 9 October.
