How do LG and Samsung's new flagship phones compare?

Samsung has long enjoyed a dominant position in the local market when it comes to smartphone sales, and with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S10 imminent, we figured it would be smart to look at its potential competition.

While the LG G8 ThinQ isn't expected to arrive in Australia for some months, it's a somewhat different proposition to Samsung's shiny new flagship, especially with that inbuilt vein scanning feature for enhanced security.
