The Powerpuff Girls, Teen Titans and Beetlejuice are coming to LEGO Dimensions

Matt Sayer 13 September 2017 NEWS

New minifigures and new worlds are on their way to the brick-busting game.

Five new expansion packs are on their way to the toys-to-life video game LEGO Dimensions, and in typical LEGO fashion, they're as diverse as they are unexpected.

First up is Teen Titans, which is getting a Team pack with minifigs for the DC superheros Raven and Beast Boy. Raven brings along a host of new abilities, including the power to move objects telekinetically, create portals for accessing hard-to-reach areas and shrinking down into a miniature version of herself. Beast Boy has his own set of powers, capable of transforming into a bird for flying, a shark for swimming and a mouse for squeezing into small gaps. Also included in the team pack is the T-Car vehicle, which you can rebuild into a forklift, and the T-Plane.

Teen Titans is also getting a Fun pack with a minifig for the character Starfire, who can interact with rainbow LEGO bricks. Both the Team pack and the Fun pack get you access to the Teen Titans Adventure World of Jump City to roam around in.

Next up is The Powerpuff Girls, with a Team pack featuring minifigs for Blossom and Bubbles along with the transformable Octi vehicle. A Fun pack including a minifig for Buttercup will also be available, and both packs get you The Powerpuff Girls Adventure World of Townsville, with key locations like Pokey Oaks elementary and Professor Utonium's Lab.

Last in the line-up is a Beetlejuice Fun pack with a minifig for the titular spirit. Like the other packs, it comes with its own Adventure World inspired by the cult 1980s movie.

All five expansion packs will be available for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U on 15 September.

In other Warner Bros. news, an Injustice 2 PC port looks to be on the way.
