Lawbreakers fights back with new maps, new items and a new competitive mode
Rick and Morty fans will be especially interested in this new update.
The competitive first-person shooter Lawbreakers hasn't had the best reception since its launch on PS4 and PC back in August. Player numbers on Steam have been notoriously low despite solid critical reception and the strength of Cliff Bleszinski, lead designer on the Gears of War franchise, behind it.
However, that hasn't stopped Cliffy B and his team at Boss Key Studios from supporting the game, as the latest free update for the online shooter proves. Dubbed the All-Star update, it brings two new maps, a slew of new customisation items, plenty of balance changes and the promised competitive ranked mode Boss Leagues.
To celebrate the update, Boss Key Studios has dropped a new trailer showing off the new content, with Justin Roiland of Rick and Morty fame lending his iconic voice to the video. Roiland also features in the game proper as the voice of the Emotionally Unstable Robotic Orb that players must bring to the enemy's goal in the game's Blitzball mode.
Lawbreaker's All-Star update is available now as a free download for both the PS4 and PC versions of the game.
