Finder Beauty Fave: La Roche-Posay Anthelios Invisible Fluid SPF 50+

Whether your skin is dry, oily, acne-prone or sensitive, you're going to love this sunscreen.

If you're yet to include a face sunscreen in your everyday skincare routine, then are you really taking care of your skin? The short answer is no. While the sun's rays may make you feel alive and give you a bit of colour, the UV light can actually cause major damage to your skin.

This includes – but is not limited to – fine lines, wrinkles, sagging, pigmentation and dark spots. And guess what? Sun damage cannot be reversed, so if you're in your early 20s like me, now is the time to start lathering it on every single day and save yourself in the long run.

If you've tried them all and still haven't found the perfect sunscreen, allow me to point you in the direction of La Roche-Posay.

The quick verdict

Why is it good? This all-rounder sunscreen is comfortable enough for daily wear and suits all skin types.

How much is it? $29.95 for 50mL.

Where can I buy it? Adore Beauty and Chemist Warehouse.

La Roche-Posay carries a lot of different sunscreen formulations, all designed for specific skin types. Whether you're dry, oily, acne-prone or sensitive, I can guarantee this sunscreen will work for you.

The Anthelios Invisible Fluid SPF 50+ is made for those who have sensitive skin. It provides very high UVA/UVB protection while delivering a lightweight and almost invisible finish.

The fragrance-free formula is non-greasy and non-comedogenic, meaning it won't clog your pores. It's also formulated with glycerin, which helps to hydrate and moisturise the skin.

As the name suggests, this product goes against all the common misconceptions of sunscreen. Instead of feeling thick and heavy and leaving that dreaded white cast, this La Roche-Posay sunscreen is comfortable enough for daily wear.

It rubs in completely clear and doesn't disrupt the skincare products that I've applied underneath, or the makeup that I follow it up with. It's super lightweight and blends out completely into an invisible finish.

I'm also a big fan of the packaging. Sunscreen is something you should be taking with you on the go, whether that be in your everyday handbag or your beach bag. The bottle has a slim shape, meaning you can easily chuck it in your bag and head out the door.

Looking for some coverage as well? The brand has also come out with the exact same formulation in a tinted version, which I also love. Although, I can't recommend this to everyone because, unfortunately, it won't suit all skin tones.

Turns out you don't have to spend big bucks to get a great all-rounder sunscreen. The La Roche-Posay Anthelios Invisible Fluid SPF 50+ will set you back just $29.95 for 50mL.

In my opinion, that's a super reasonable price for something of this quality and importance – you've got to wear sunscreen everyday people!

Where to buy
