Kogan Mobile is offering free 30-day XL plans to new customers
Score yourself a month's worth of Kogan's largest mobile plan by porting your existing number to Kogan Mobile before Sunday.
In celebration of its two-year anniversary, Kogan Mobile is offering customers of other mobile providers a tantalising deal to make the switch to Kogan.
From now until 11:59pm on Sunday, new customers signing up to Kogan Mobile can order a voucher to port their existing mobile number from any Aussie network other than Vodafone to Kogan. The voucher comes with a free 30-day trial of Kogan's Extra Large mobile plan, which includes 16GB of data, unlimited standard calls and texts within Australia and a free SIM card.
Existing Kogan Mobile customers won't be left out in the cold for Kogan's two-year anniversary either, as they'll receive an extra 2GB of data automatically added to their monthly allowance for free as of today, Thursday 19 October. The extra 2GB will be valid only for the next 30 days.
Kogan recently upped the data allowance on all its mobile plans, too, making the provider's offerings that much more appealing.
In its current form, Kogan Mobile uses the Vodafone 4G network, though the online retailer had previously launched a service using Telstra's network which collapsed after its wholesale access provider went bankrupt. The other major MVNO which runs on Vodafone (outside of Vodafone itself) is TPG, though that arrangement is expected to end when TPG launches its own network next year. Whichever network you prefer, use our mobile plan comparison tool to pick the best deal.
