The online shopping platform has kicked off its first ever Kogan First sale with deals on TVs, Dyson vacuums and heaps more.

Online retailer Kogan has today launched its first ever members-only Kogan First sale. The one-day-only shopping event began this morning, giving members an opportunity to bag themselves a major bargain on a range of electronics, homewares and more.

Included in the mix are hundreds of products from big name brands, including Apple, Sony, Dyson and iRobot.

There is also a range of other deals available including up to 60% off home and garden, up to 40% off tech, up to 39% off TV and home theatre appliances and up to 20% off shoes, apparel, toys and gadgets.

To make the most of the deals, you will need to sign up for a Kogan First membership if you haven't done so already.

As well as giving you access to the sales event, membership will also get you free delivery on thousands of eligible products, priority customer service, upgrades to express shipping at no extra cost and a 14-day free trial.

Once the trial has ended, the service costs $11.99 per month.

A Kogan spokesperson has said of the sales event, "This year will be an e-commerce Christmas and the Kogan First sale will allow Australians to cash in on some great bargains and enjoy a free trial of our membership program including all of its benefits such as free shipping and priority customer service."

Kogan First Day deals are set to expire at 11:59pm (AEDT) on 26 October, unless extended or sold out prior.
