Buying and selling cars online just got a whole lot easier.
Aussie online shopping destination Kogan has come a long way since its humble beginnings. Originally launched as a site to sell cheap electronics, the company has massively expanded its portfolio to include a slew of services including Kogan Retail, Kogan Marketplace, Kogan Travel and Kogan Insurance. Now the brand is adding one more notch to its belt with the launch of Kogan Cars.
Teaming up with Eclipx Group, Kogan launched the new platform this week and it's already set to be a game changer for those looking to buy or sell cars online. The site will use Eclipx Group's nation-wide dealer network to bulk buy vehicles, giving them the ability to offer discounts not ordinarily available to the average Aussie customer. As a bonus, the site will even deliver your new set of wheels directly to your home or office, saving you the hassle of picking it up yourself.
Those looking to sell or trade-in their current car aren't forgotten either. In a media release, Kogan has stated that trade-ins will be offered excellent prices, while those looking to sell will have the process simplified as Kogan Cars' national team of inspectors will come directly to them.
Furthering its competitive streak, Kogan is also offering a best price guarantee across its services. This means that if you find a better price on a new or used car trade-in, Kogan Cars will either match it or give you $100 of Kogan credit (terms and conditions apply).
Director of Strategy at Kogan, Ross Metherell, has said in a release, "After the family home, cars are one of the most expensive single physical assets that many Aussies purchase during their lifetime. The current method of visiting dealerships can be a time consuming and frustrating experience that can leave Aussies paying too much for new cars."
"Kogan Cars can help Aussies reduce the cost of purchasing their next new car and trading in, while also making the purchasing process easier and simpler. The most exciting aspect of Kogan Cars is that it can get Aussies a price on a new car that is unlikely to be achievable on their own, thereby saving them time, legwork, and money."
