KITH x Converse x Disney Chuck 70 Collection: First look
Here's when you can shop the childhood collection of your dreams.
Major streetwear brand KITH is known for its quirky collaborations with major partners, but its latest collection is truly next level. Teaming up with both Converse and Disney, the label is set to release a line of sneakers celebrating 90 years of our favourite cartoon mouse, Micky.
Release date: 18 November (US)
Where to buy: KITH online
Three styles of the Chuck 70 silhouette are set to arrive on the KITH online store from 18 November, though we are hoping that they'll drop onto the Converse site too to make them more accessible to Australian shoppers.
The first design arrives in a sleek black leather upper and features a range of debossed Micky prints running directly above the midsole. Representing Micky through the ages, the images start at the heel with a black-and-white Steamboat Willie drawing from the 20s, right up to today's version of The Mouse by the toebox.
A second style meanwhile comes in a parchment-hued canvas upper with black laces. Similar to the first iteration, the design features prints of Micky over time, though this time only four portraits are shown. The images decorate both the lateral and medial sides of the throat, using the eyelets to represent Micky's ears.
A final sneaker sees the Chuck 70 style reimagined in a black and red fleece upper, which is a nod to Micky's iconic colourways. All three designs also feature co-branded insoles, along with KITH branding along the midsole.
The Converse line accompanies a full Micky Mouse apparel collaboration between KITH and Disney that will be released on 11 November on the KITH online store. The collection will see a range of apparel and accessories for both adults and kids which will include hoodies, trucker jackets and even kimonos.
