What is Kirobo?

KIRO is the native cryptocurrency token of the Kiribo protocol. The team behind Kiribo believe that issues with safety and user experience mean that mass adoption of cryptocurrencies is unlikely. Specifically, Kiribo targets 3 key issues: (1) the various ways that users can irreversibly lose funds, (2) that cryptocurrency exchanges are either expensive or non-custodial, and (3) that digital assets are lost on a frequent basis. Kiribo aims to tackle these 3 issues and, therefore, encourage greater use of the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Kiribo’s protocol is currently composed of 2 key features: (1) the Liquid Vault and (2) the Undo Button. Both of these decentralised applications are focused on removing the risks associated with using cryptocurrencies. According to Kiribo’s website, the Liquid Vault is a decentralised crypto wallet focused on offering a suite of decentralised finance (DeFi) applications without the risk of human error. This feature also integrates with other Kiribo features which include safely backing up access, the ability to move funds via “Safe Transfer” and an “Inheritance” module that transfers cryptocurrencies to a designated wallet after a certain amount of time has passed. Meanwhile, the Undo Button within Kiribo applications allows users to reverse incorrect cryptocurrency transactions. By applying these features Kiribo plans to expand and integrate with other decentralised applications. KIRO is the main utility token of the Kiribo ecosystem. The token is required to initially open a Liquid Vault and must also be staked to backup access and renew any inheritance protocols.
