The finish line is in sight for Kayo's free trial.

Sport streaming service Kayo is ending its 7-day free trial in just a few weeks' time.

That means if you are a new customer to the service, you will no longer be able to sign up for a test run free of cost.

It is the next major sport streaming service after Stan Sport and Optus Sport that will no longer offer a free trial.

When does the Kayo free trial end?

According to a note posted on the help section of its website, "from Tuesday 26 September 2023, the Kayo 7-day free trial will no longer be available".

It comes just over a year since Kayo halved its free trial from 14 days to 7 days.

Is Kayo still worth it?

Sports enthusiasts may still find Kayo worth it for the breadth of sport on offer.

And even though Kayo it's ending its free trial, you will still have the opportunity to sample some sport at no cost.

For example, if you're a new customer and sign up before 26 September you'll be able to watch ad-free NRL, AFL and the FIBA World Cup among others.

The only issue here is that you don't get to choose what events are free to watch, so your favourite sport or the event you're looking for may not be available for free.

Are there any other sport streaming services that offer a free trial?

If you want to watch sport with a free trial, you can try Foxtel Now.

It carries pretty much the same sporting events as Kayo, and new users get a 10-day free trial.

Foxtel Now also comes with the bonus of featuring entertainment content and not just sport.
