Kangaroo Service exchange rates

Kangaroo Service exchange rates are updated regularly throughout the day to reflect market fluctuations. The rates on offer are typically better than those available from banks, and you can check the rate on the Kangaroo Service website, by sending an SMS or email to the company, or by phoning Kangaroo Service directly.

If the exchange rate changes after you have transferred funds to Kangaroo Service, you will receive the higher rate if the company receives your transaction confirmation within 1 minute of the rate change. If confirmation arrives later than this, then the updated rate will apply to your transfer.

Before sending money overseas with Kangaroo Service, you will need to register for an account. The first step is to download a registration form from the Kangaroo Service website and fill out your details, including your personal information and details of the person who will receive your funds in Indonesia. You’ll need to post this form back to Kangaroo Service and also provide a certified copy of photo ID, for example your passport or driver’s licence.
